“Meet Your Buddy: The Face Behind The Vespa Tours on the Amalfi Coast”
Ciao, I'm Federico and I'm a tour guide on the Amalfi coast and the Sorrento peninsula. My grandmother always said that I am nice, polite, outgoing, with a strong personality and a huge sense of humor, and it is well known that grandmothers are always right.
I literally grew up in the family bookshop. I still remember my prime time in childhood sleeping on books. There I discovered some of my favorite authors and characters: first of all Corto Maltese by Hugo Pratt.
When I was twenty I decided to go and live abroad, first in Spain and later in the UK. There I got to know many other cultures and open my mind and my horizons even more. Always fascinated by the natural beauties of the place where I live, once back in Italy I decided to become a tour leader on the Sorrento and Amalfi Coast, where I was lucky enough to be able to show others the hidden treasures of my land, first to everyone the couchsurfers I hosted and later the guests of the various B&Bs in my city. It is thanks to them that I realized that being a guide was my path to happiness. I spent my youth riding a Vespa (Italian symbol per excellence) going around the coast, discovering its secrets and beauties and that's why I decided to merge all my passions into my tours.
One of the tours that I love most, however, is the Vespa tour of the Amalfi Coast. Riding a Vespa through the picturesque coastal roads, with the wind in your hair and the smell of the sea in the air, admiring the surrounding landscapes and architecture is a unique experience that is not easily forgotten.
I am a very passionate and reliable person, always ready to put myself on the line to offer my clients the best possible experience. I love to create an atmosphere of joy and sharing during my tours, and I enjoy sharing stories and curiosities related to the places we visit with others. With my tour, you will be able to discover the true soul of the Amalfi Coast and the Sorrento Peninsula, visiting the most beautiful and evocative places, enjoying the authentic flavors of the local cuisine and breathing the fresh air of the sea and the surrounding nature.
